Profile

Bentleigh Cricket Club was established in August 1909 and in season 2018/2019, we will enter our 109th season.

Our aim is to foster an active participation in sport (cricket) for junior and senior players of all ages and gender, while providing a responsible and enjoyable social environment for members, families and supporters.

We have senior mens, women, and junior teams and run the Woolworths Juniors Blasters (formerly Milo In2 Cricket) and Master Blasters (formerly T20 Blast) programmes.

Our seniors are affiliated with the Cricket Southern Bayside (CSB) competition playing on Saturdays and Sundays.  We also have a Masters Team that play four matches throughout the season, all on a Sunday. All senior teams, including Masters, play on turf. Our women’s team is a foundation member of the CSB Women’s competition playing a T20 format on Sunday afternoons at Caulfield Park.

Our juniors are affiliated with the South East Cricket Association (SECA) and play Friday, Saturday and Sundays. The junior home grounds are Duncan Mackinnon Reserve and Victory Park.

Our main ground is Bentleigh Recreation Reserve located at Arthur St Bentleigh (behind the Bentleigh RSL), with our second ground being Centenary Park Oval 2, located at Bignell Rd, East Bentleigh

We also run the most successful Junior and Master Blasters programs in the Southern Metro Region. This is held on a Friday night at our main ground in Bentleigh. The relaxed social atmosphere is enjoyed by girls, boys and parents alike.

We welcome players of all ages, gender and skill, and encourage anyone to come down and be a part of what has been an amazing Club for more than 100 years.
