Junior All Abilities Program
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Bentleigh Cricket Club runs a junior All Abilities Cricket program during the season, alongside our Cricket Blast Program on Friday nights. The aim of the program is to provide opportunities for children with disability aged 5-18 to learn cricket skills in a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment.
Our sessions are run by a level 3 qualified cricket coach with experience in working with athletes with disability.
We welcome parent involvement, but also appreciate that sometimes parents need a break so we have plenty of volunteers to assist our participants.
WHEN & WHERE?
Sessions run on Friday nights from 5:00 - 5:45pm during the cricket season with 6 session before Christmas and five sessions in the new year.
This season we will be commencing on Friday November 10th to Dec 15th, 2023. Resuming after the new year break on February 2nd to March 1st, 2024.
Location is Bentleigh Cricket Club, Arthur Street, Bentleigh, behind the RSL. There is one disabled parking space at the front of the ground.
"Diving catches was my favourite part. Also batting. Hitting the stumps down when throwing. It was the best part of my week."
